Potpourri!

Friday, July 16
Registrants Only

What is Potpourri?

It is a showcase of various puppet styles, themes, and content, and an eclectic melange of puppeteer skill levels .
It is an uncensored, unvetted, unauthorized collection of short puppet skits that might be full (but short) stories or might be part of a puppeteer's work-in-progress.
It is open to everyone.
It's open [puppet] mic night, hosted by DREWBOB!
Newcomer FAQ's:

Q: "What if I've only performed this really awesome little skit for my cats?"
A:  Potpourri is a good place to take the next step.
Q:  "What if I'm not sure if it's good enough?"
A:   You'll only find out by performing it for a live audience.  And you might get more input than the cats give.
Q:  Do I need to send a video of the work to get accepted?
A:  NOPE.
But, you do need to sign up, and there are limited slots.

PPP (Potential Potpourri Participants) Code of Conduct
  • No fancy lighting, sound,  staging requests, please  (simple=better).  But do provide technical requirements/wishes/dreams/fantasies.  We are operating under the "Doing the Best We Can" Code.
  • Provide TITLE if you have one.
  • Provide TYPE of puppetry to be used.
  • Provide your NAME/GROUP and a sentence-long bio about yourself.

At Potpourri, we run the gamut*, we sweep the range, we ride the spectrum.  Don't pass by this opportunity to participate.
Or just come to watch the others participate.  That's fun too.

This is serious work.
*Not to be confused with "running the gauntlet," overall.
