The Hellblinki Sextet, in collaboration with acclaimed Puppeteer Mr.
Madison
J. Cripps, has created a cutting edge theater show based around the
band's
songs. "The Devil Takes All" follows Mr. Hatgrin Hellblinki through a
tale
of wonder, love, adventure, and deadly poison. Reminiscent of Alice in
Wonderland, Frankenstein, and Candide; the show combines Music,
Puppetry,
and Multimedia... (Subject matter is dark, though appropriate for all
ages,
Earplugs may be desired in some venues...)

Madison J. Cripps, creator of "Strings Attached Marionettes" and "The
Cripps
Walking Theatre Project" is a graduate of The Evergreen State College.
He
has studied with Sandglass Theater, performed from Canada to Mexico and
is
an MCC Grant recipient. He enjoys bobbing for apples in tepid water and
hopes someday the voices will cease their senseless drivel.
Hellblinki has been introduced by James Brown on Television,
accidentally
murdered a live fish with a rented minivan, staged a show with over 50
performers in an old vaudeville theatre, has literally been passed out
upon
by an audience member on a moving bus while performing, played with
folks
like Gogol Bordello, Voltaire, Unknown Hinson, and Sleepytime Gorilla
Museum, almost got in a great deal of legal of trouble for building the
prow
of a ship on the front of their building, (complete with a nude demoness
figurehead) has released an Xmas EP (really!) as well as three full
length
records, and wants very badly to do a houseboat tour with lots of frozen
drinks...
